The Explorer Boot is made of Full Grain waterproof leather for a classic easily maintained good looking boot. The Danner Explorer Outdoor hiking boot is also equipped with a breathable GORE-TEX® lining. This Gore-tex lining keeps these hiking boots 100 percent waterproof as well as breathable. The Danner Explorer boot is also built on danners world famous Stichdown Construction which adds tothe life and durability of the boot ,as well as function providing more stability underfoot with a wider platform. The stichdown construction also makes resoling easier and Danner stichdown boots can be resoled and recrafted directly through Danner to ensure you get the same quality craftsmanship you started with. The Danner explorer hiking boot is equipped with Vibram® Kletterlift outsole which is specifically designed for comfort and durability. The heel provides lightweight comfort as well as superb shock absorption.
